Born from the climbing cultures of Chile and Canada and imbued with the duality of city living and reverence for nature, Outergrip is for our in the open experiences—wherever they happen. We make things slowly and with intent in Toronto by partnering with local manufacturers and creatives.

Community

Outergrip was established in 2021 with the belief that outdoor experiences should be community-driven and accessible. We want to keep space for diverse identities in the outdoors, and find alternative entry points and ways of existing within outside spaces. We create events and resources that help us find our place here, encourage us to move slowly and with intent, and that enrich our in the open experiences.

Environment

Outergrip builds on the foundation of the environmentally-minded work that has come before it. We make products with accountability and sustainability in mind. We use quality materials, and meticulous processes to make products with functionality and longevity. We encourage repair and alteration over replacement and make things that can grow and change with us, becoming a lasting part of our lives and evolving to suit our ever-changing needs.
