Visiting Sḵwx̱wú7meshÚxwumixw

After 6 years of living in Canada, we finally had the chance to visit the territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7meshÚxwumixw (Squamish). Climbing was the main purpose of this trip, but we came back with so much more. We reconnected with old friends and meet new people, allowing us to value the true meaning of quality time. Being surrounded by huge rocks, that felt like giants, made us feel so small. We prioritize ease, which allowed us to appreciate the texture of granite, the protection of trees when it rained and the sunshine filtering though the trees.
